Its magic happens everywhere: on stage, in the audience, during workshops, between performances, in children’s reactions, in details of costumes and props, and in the warm atmosphere created by performers, organizers, families and visitors.

Professional Camera Setup
For this festival assignment, I used 2 x Sony A7IV camera bodies, supported by the Tamron 35–150mm and Tamron 16–30mm lenses.
This setup was very effective for a dynamic cultural festival with multiple locations and different types of moments.
The Tamron 35–150mm was ideal for performances, portraits of artists, audience reactions, emotional close-ups and moments where I needed to isolate a subject from the busy festival environment.
The Tamron 16–30mm was perfect for wider atmosphere images, festival locations, group scenes, workshops and frames where the city of Ogulin itself needed to be part of the story.
Using two camera bodies allowed me to move quickly between wide environmental storytelling and closer documentary moments without losing time on lens changes. At a festival with children, performers and a changing programme, this flexibility is essential.
Professional Approach Toward Guests and Organizers
A family-oriented festival requires a calm and respectful photographic approach. The photographer has to be present, but not intrusive. Children, parents, performers and workshop leaders should feel comfortable, and the natural atmosphere of the event should remain undisturbed.
