For this concert, I photographed with a Sony A7IV camera and the Tamron 35–150mm lens.
This setup was ideal for a large venue like Wiener Stadthalle. The Sony A7IV provided reliable image quality and strong autofocus performance in challenging stage light, while the Tamron 35–150mm gave me excellent flexibility for both medium stage compositions and tighter performer portraits.
At a fast punk rock concert, changing lenses is rarely practical. Important moments happen too quickly. The 35–150mm range allowed me to react fast, follow the musicians and capture both expressive close-ups and wider performance moments with one versatile lens.
